QA Cafe Joins Virtual Private Network Consortium and Announces NAT-Traversal Testing

February 09, 2006

PORTSMOUTH, NH -- QA Cafe is pleased to announce that they have joined the Virtual Private Network Consortium (vpnc.org) as a member company.

The VPNC is the international trade association for manufacturers in the VPN market. The VPNC increases interoperability between members to help them better serve their potential customers.

QA Cafe also announced version 3.2 of their CD Router-IKE test product yesterday which offers support for NAT-Traversal testing. QA Cafe's support for NAT-Traversal includes RFC 3947 Negotiation of NAT-Traversal in the IKE as well as several versions of the drafts leading up to RFC 3947. During a testing session, CDRouter may be configured to use a specific version of NAT-Traversal allowing vendors to test that their implementation of NAT-Traversal works with different versions of NAT-T. CDRouter-IKE also contains a new test module specific to NAT Traversal.

Joining the Virtual Private Network Consortium will strengthen QA Cafe’s ability to continue to meet the demands of the constantly evolving router technology market.
