QA Cafe has announced a new Xbox Live Testing module that will be included in CDRouter 4.2 scheduled to be releases this fall 2008. The new module provides new functional tests to help ensure that devices are compatible with Microsoft's Xbox Live.
For most QA Cafe customers, CDRouter is used on a daily basis as part of a regression testing strategy. Incorporation of Xbox Live testing into CDRouter allows detection of Xbox Live compatibility issues early in the test cycle and reduces the risk that a device will not be certified as Xbox Live compatible by Microsoft.
The CDRouter test suite from QA Cafe is a comprehensive functional test suite for CPE routers and devices. CDRouter is currently in use at over 100 different locations around the globe involved in various aspects of building, testing, and deploying CPE router devices including chip companies, OEMs, retail companies, and ISPs. QA Cafe’s customer list covers most of the major CPE vendors with large deployments in the United States and worldwide including Linksys, D-Link, Westell, Siemens, Actiontec, 2Wire, and Motorola.
More details on the Xbox Live test module can be found in QA Cafe's application note on Xbox testing.
